Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 2, 2026

By using Volume Shaders BM and the volumeshader_bm benchmark, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Volume Shaders BM, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our volume shaders bm test service.

Description of Service

Volume Shaders BM is a free, browser-based GPU benchmark test that allows users to measure their device's graphics performance using the volumeshader_bm algorithm. The service renders a complex 3D fractal to stress test your GPU and measure volume shader fps performance. The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.

User Responsibilities

When using the volume shaders benchmark, you agree to:

  • Use the service for its intended purpose of GPU benchmarking
  • Not attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the service
  • Not use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Understand that extended use may cause device heating and battery drain
  • Accept that benchmark results are for informational purposes only

Device Usage Warning

The volumeshader_bm GPU benchmark is designed to stress test your device's graphics processor to its maximum capacity. While modern devices have built-in thermal protection and the volume shaders test cannot cause permanent damage, prolonged use may cause your device to heat up significantly and drain battery faster than normal usage. Use at your own discretion and take breaks during extended testing sessions.

Benchmark Results

Volume shader fps results and performance metrics are provided for informational and comparison purposes only. Results may vary based on browser, operating system, background processes, thermal conditions, and other factors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of results for any specific purpose.

Limitation of Liability

Volume Shaders BM and the volumeshader_bm benchmark are provided for informational and entertainment purposes. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to device overheating, battery drain, browser crashes, or any hardware issues.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the volume shaders bm test service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
